How did they meet
This love story starts with Keegan stating that 'Persia literally walked into his life in 2019. This being where these two lovebirds first met, whilst Persia was visiting her friend Dexter's house and she was introduced to Keegan.
Persia's fascination with Keegan continued each time Persia and her friend Dexter met up on their regular walking hikes. Until one day Dexter decided to step in and play cupid, where he told Persia that Keegan had also been asking about her.
It was then that Dexter encouraged Persia to add Keegan on Instagram and after a few more group bonfires and house parties, Keegan plucked up the courage to ask Persia over for dinner.
Keegan was also obsessed with puzzles. So as they were waiting for their dinner, they shared their first kiss under the coffee table searching for a missing puzzle piece.
A couple of days later, on the 25th of May 2019 Keegan asked Persia to officially be his girlfriend, and Keegan started to think about his Andrew Mazzone oval diamond ring proposal in Turkey!

Persia had provided Keegan with photos of oval diamond engagement rings over the years for reference and inspiration. Persia said that Keegan completely outdid himself and the oval diamond ring that Keegan chose exceeded all of Persia's hopes and dreams.
The Proposal
Keegan popped the question with the most beautiful love note on the 6th of July 2025 at the Cappadocia lookout on a romantic holiday to Turkey. Keegan gifted Persia flights for her 30th birthday and planned the entire trip. He knew that Persia was wanting to visit Cappadocia to experience Hot Air Ballooning.
Keegan planned the proposal right down to the last detail. Even placing the oval diamond ring in a little travel sewing kit, so Persia would not be suspicious. He decided not to ask Persia's Mum for her hand, as he was worried she may not be able to keep the secret. Keegan proposed at a beautiful lookout spot and of course Persia said Yes! The next day they had a lovely engagement proposal photo shoot featuring the fabulous hot air balloons circling above.
Keegan's plan worked completely and Persia was completely surprised when he got down on one knee and proposed with the Andrew Mazzone oval diamond ring. The rest of the trip was spent immersed in a love bubble.
