There is no right or wrong choice. Most people are drawn to a particular setting due to their own personal wants and needs. The claw setting is the most popular, as it is, in theory, the most secure. However this setting has many factors to consider including the number of claws, the shape and the thickness. You can see the different options available, in our ring settings page or you can make a no-obligation appointment, to discuss the various options with us.

Yes, during the design process changes can be made. We take care to ensure you are involved every step of the way and we work together, so you are very much a part of the initial planning stage. Please note however, once the design is complete no changes can be made.

Yes, this is definitely an option. This allows your partner to be blown away with a surprise engagement but also be involved in choosing their dream ring. We will present the diamond in a beautiful box so that you can propose with style and still get down on one knee!

Gold is naturally yellow in colour, so alloys are mixed with it to turn it white. The gold is then plated with precious metal solution called rhodium, an external coating, giving the metal a shiny and bright lustre. 18ct is 75% pure gold with 25% mix of white alloy metals.

Platinum is a naturally white precious metal therefore it does not need to be rhodium-plated. However it still needs to be polished every couple of years to maintain its bright white colour. Platinum is a 95% pure white metal and is one of nature’s hardest precious metals. Both metals are perfectly suited to fine jewellery, including engagement and wedding rings.

It all depends on the design. Fancy diamond rings can take approximately 3-8 weeks and plain gold or platinum rings approximately 2-4 weeks.

We only deal with members of the JAA (Jewellery Association of Australia) who adhere to strict codes of conduct and the Kimberley Process. At manufacturing jewellery stores, yes. We have a large range of diamonds to choose from and believe everyone should have the chance to view their diamond up close and personal before making the final decision. Nothing beats viewing your diamond loose before it is set into your dream ring. All of our diamonds are independently certified we recommend the industry standard G.I.A. – Gemmological Institute of America Certified, ensuring the highest quality of independent certification. This includes our lab grown diamonds which are also certified.

Some rings can be resized depending on the style and setting of the stones.  In general, ladies rings are a size N and men’s rings are a size R. If a ring needs to be resized, please visit us in-store or call us for a quote.

Ready-to-wear rings and jewellery can be exchanged for any other item within 14 days, from day of sale, provided the item was purchased from our existing stock and is returned in the same condition when bought with valid proof of purchase e.g.: the item is still in its box, has not been worn or scratched and you have the receipt. Special order items and sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Custom-made jewellery cannot be returned or exchanged. We do our very best to make a custom-made piece that you will be 100% happy with. You can however, make changes to your design during the manufacturing process as there are multiple steps in the process that enable you to see the design along the way, providing you with opportunities to make sure it is perfect before the final piece is crafted. Any deposit or payment made in the event of a cancellation is the termination charge.

Yes, we offer a two-month lay-by. We need is a 50% deposit paid off the item total, then you can either pay regular payments or finalise the payment once you pick the item up. On larger and more expensive items, we are more than happy to extend the lay-by period as long as you are making regular, fortnightly payments. Conditions apply – ask in-store for further details.

Carat is the unit of weight or size for a diamond. Diamonds can range in size from a fraction of a carat to several carats.

When considering diamonds of equal quality, the larger stone will have more value.

Cultured freshwater pearls are humanity’s work at duplicating what nature first started. A ‘seed’ (typically a round bead made of mother of pearl) is inserted into the freshwater mollusk. After three years, a pearl is then harvested.
