Adelaide Winter Wedding - Lauren & Luke

This stunning Adelaide winter wedding held at the South Australian Museum highlights the perfect love story of Lauren & Luke. The first thing you notice about this gorgeous couple is that they love life as much as they love each other. So it makes complete sense that their first date was a fun-filled visit to Adelaide's tree climb. It's safe to say that for these two lovebirds it was love at first sight!

The Proposal

Luke proposed whilst they were on holiday in beautiful Tasmania. They were staying at a Air-bnb overlooking Sheepwash Bay on Bruny Island, where they were walking along the water to catch the sunset, and that was when Luke got down on one knee and popped the question! In all the excitement the Andrew Mazzone oval diamond engagement ring was put on the wrong hand, but Lauren quickly fixed that and said YES! Soon after that the planning began for there beautiful Adelaide winter wedding.

From choosing the size, cut and charity for our engagement and wedding bands. we never knew how much detail goes into the design process. We really appreciated Andrew taking time out of his busy schedule to give us guidance and answer any questions we had. We as a couple didn’t know a great deal about jewellery, but Andrew and Selina provided educated us and we have learnt so much. This gave us so much confidence. A beautiful Adelaide Winter Wedding

Luke and Lauren married on Saturday the 24/08/2024. This beautiful Adelaide Winter Wedding was at the stunning South Australian Museum archway lawns. We only looked at two other venues but the museum really stole our hearts.

The old Police Building behind the museum has the most beautiful stair case that I envisioned stunning flowers going up the bannister. We felt a location in the city was a good decision as we had many guests from interstate. Someone from every state of Australia in fact. A possibility of the wedding being a blank canvas venue was very appealing for us. Then we could have our Adelaide winter wedding exactly the way we wanted.

Lauren and Luke were blessed with the most gorgeous winters day. The sun was shining, no rain and the most gorgeous pink sky at night. It was the most magical day, with amazing people, food and drinks. They had a marquee set up on the lawns and then partied into the night under the stars. They even managed to take a moment on thier sweetheart table. Just the two of them to taking it all in and savouring the moment.

We celebrated our honeymoon in the Maldives at the Sun Siyam World. An all-inclusive resort with the classic bungalow over looking the ocean. We spent our time snorkelling in the crystal clear water with colourful tropical fish, manta-rays and even a pair of friendly sharks. When we grew tired of the ocean, we laid by the pool and soaked in the sun. We ate to our hearts content and reminisced on our wedding while we relaxed in paradise
