A birthday proposal- Kara & Haydn

A 30^th birthday proposal, a beautiful scenic view from a mountain and an Andrew Mazzone Design Jewellers engagement ring… What more could you want? You will love this special birthday proposal story for the gorgeous Kara & Haydn. Kara & Haydn were in Tasmania to celebrate Kara’s 30th birthday. They had planned to hike to the top of Cradle Mountain but Kara had booked them in for a spa treatment for a relaxing treat which meant they didn’t have time to do the full hike. They had hiked a fair way up the mountain and reached snow when Haydn set his proposal plan into action! The birthday proposal. Mobile reception on the mountain was not great but finally Kara was in range and birthday messages started coming though so they decided to stop so Kara could read them. Haydn said he was getting a banana as he was hungry but he was really grabbing that Andrew Mazzone engagement ring he had hidden away. Kara was busy reading her messages when Haydn called out her name.

Kara said: I turned around and he was on his knee, black box in hand. He said “will you marry me” and I literally questioned if I was imagining what was going on - it was my dream ring and I genuinely had no idea it would happen. I don’t remember saying yes, I just remember hugging him. Luckily Haydn reminded me I’d already said yes!

A beautiful ending to a wonderful holiday. After the initial excitement they continued on their hike up the the mountain and Haydn started to throw snowballs at Kara. The mountain air was exhilarating and Kara could not take her eyes off her new engagement ring. Kara said I felt like a giddy child, my ring sparkled...a lot...!
