Come in today, for a no-obligation appointment and we’ll happily give you a quote. |
Which setting is best for an engagement ring?
There is no right or wrong choice. Most people are drawn to a particular setting due to their own personal wants and needs. The claw setting is the most popular, as it is, in theory, the most secure. However this setting has many factors to consider including the number of claws, the shape and the thickness. You can see the different options available, in our ring settings page or you can make a no-obligation appointment, to discuss the various options with us. |
How long will we have to wait for a custom-made ring?
Depending on the design approximately anywhere between 2-6 weeks. |
How do I find out her ring size?
If you can borrow a ring she wears and bring it into our store we can use this as a guide, however if this isn’t possible, then you can use the ring size guide (link to Australian ring size guide ) jot down her finger size and bring it in with you. It’s important to remember, we can always resize the ring if it’s not quite right. |
What’s the average price of an engagement ring?
We create rings to suit all budgets and desires starting from $2,000 to $20,000 and beyond. |
Once you’ve started designing my ring can I make changes?
Yes, during the design process changes can be made. We take care to ensure you are involved every step of the way and we work together, so you are very much a part of the initial planning stage. Please note however, once the design is complete no changes can be made. |
Is it OK to buy the diamond, and let her choose the ring later?
Yes, this is definitely an option. This allows her to be blown away with a surprise engagement but also be involved in choosing her dream ring. We will present the diamond in a beautiful box so that you can propose with style and still get down on one knee! |
Can you explain the difference between white gold and platinum?
Gold is naturally yellow in colour, so alloys are mixed with it to turn it white. The gold is then plated with precious metal solution called rhodium, an external coating, giving the metal a shiny and bright lustre. 18ct is 75% pure gold with 25% mix of white alloy metals. |
Can you suggest other options to diamonds?
Diamonds are not for everyone. We love sapphires as an alternative. They are nearly as durable as diamonds and can stand the test of time. Sapphires also come in a full rainbow of colours to suit all styles. If a sapphire was good enough for Princess Diana, then a sapphire is good enough for us! |
Can you remodel an older ring into a new design?
Yes! We specialise in remodelling and love turning your old piece of jewellery into something new and exciting. Our in-house designer can help you recreate something special and make you fall in love with your piece of jewellery all over again. |
Can you make the ring with a diamond we already have?
Yes we can. It’s best to make an appointment with our helpful staff, bring the diamond in and talk through the options available to you. Conditions do apply. |
