Customer love – Tim and Marianna’s custom engagement ring

We love nothing more than a story that makes us ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’, so when Adelaide’s Tim Chenoweth stepped in to our store to share his ideas earlier this year, we knew we were about to become part of something pretty spectacular. Tim had a plan to propose to his then-girlfriend Marianna in the paradise of Port Douglas with an Andrew Mazzone custom engagement ring – what a combination! Marianna was kind enough to share her and Tim’s love story with us, from the concept design to the beautiful proposal. “Tim knew that he wanted Andrew Mazzone Design Jewellers to make my ring, as some long-time friends had recommended Andrew and we both knew how good the quality would be,” Marianna explained. What Tim didn’t expect, was to work directly with Andrew – a bonus that Marianna described as a pleasant surprise. “It was great service and made us feel very special. Andrew and the team were so helpful with Tim, and very easy to talk to.” The couple got engaged on 11 May 2017, Marianna’s birthday, where Tim romantically got on one knee overlooking Port Douglas with “one final birthday present”. He presented Marianna with a stunning 18-carat white gold custom engagement ring with an oval cut centre diamond, set in four claws with brilliant cut diamonds on the shoulders.

“Tears of joy came out and I fell in love with the ring instantly, I couldn’t keep my eyes off it,” Marianna said.
