Alex and Kathryn’s stunning wedding love story featuring our Andrew Mazzone emerald cut diamond engagement ring, emerald cut diamond set wedding ring and set high above the Melbourne skyline at Vue de monde
The Proposal
After a fun day exploring Seoul and eating some delicious Michelin star dumplings we continued the day with a walk by the large river that runs through the city. Alex suggested we walk across using these large step stones and then half way across he got down on one knee and proposed. I remember being so excited but also slightly nervous about dropping my Andrew Mazzone emerald cut diamond engagement ring in the river! Our day ended sipping champagne to celebrate in a beautiful Seoul cocktail bar.

Alex chose a stunning Andrew Mazzone, east west emerald cut solitaire diamond engagement ring in 18ct yellow gold for Kathryn. Even though Alex and Kathryn live in Melbourne they found initially speaking with the Mazzone Team by phone and zoom was an easy process.

The Wedding Ceremony
We had our Melbourne city wedding of our dreams with our closest family and friends. It was not super traditional but definitely encapsulated the two of us and what we love.
Our wedding ceremony was at the Melbourne courthouse building next to the iconic Treasury Gardens a place we both love! After our intimate ceremony we captured some beautiful photos in the gardens with our fur son Basil.
A stunning Reception high up in the sky
Our reception was a sit down dinner at Vue de monde 55 levels up in the sky with incredible views of Melbourne city. As the sun set we danced to our crowd favourite tunes played by a contemporary cellist. As we had a small wedding of 44 people we wrote all our guests a personalised note that formed part of their placement card. Watching the joy on their faces as they sat down and read our note made our night even more special and intimate as it was such a surprise for all our guests.
A little bit of Karoke to end the night
As dinner concluded our guests made their way downstairs to a bus that took us all down the road to our final destination for the night our favourite Karoke bar! As we didn’t have a the traditional wedding with the dance floor, we still wanted a unique way to let our hair down with our guests. This was a lot of fun as we sung until the early hours of the morning.
